Ok, the disappointment when you find that someone is not how you imagined them, wanted them to be really, really sucks.

I'm laughing right now. Fav tried to argue with Moravius, but kept interpreting Moravius' arguments in twisted ways (he does that with everyone). Now he's depending on someone else to 'back him up' so he can twist it around to try and make a counterargument against Moravius. Fav is starting to remind me of Chirac. Neither of them can shut their traps.
Speaking of politics, I loved this quote from Neil Boortz:
"This rhetoric from the left is decades old. But have you ever stopped to really examine the underlying premises of this "robbing from the poor to give to the rich" scenario? Let's give it a short go here...To buy Clinton's "funneling the wealth" charge you have to adopt the belief that all wealth is owned by and controlled by the government which can distribute that wealth according to the designs of the political party in control of the White House and the Congress. Those evil rich people with the nice homes and the fancy cars actually got those things by stealing from you. They didn't come by those things legally. They stole, they swindled and they robbed. The money used to buy that million dollar home is actually your money. Every payment on that Mercedes is actually money that should be in your pocket, not the pocket of that crooked rich person. It is the government's job, not the job of the free market, to decide who gets what. Hard work is an individual pursuit and, as such, should not be rewarded."

Ok, so I'm not updating as much as I'd like to, but it's a start.
It was all a misunderstanding, after all. I'm glad for that at least. But I'm also disheartened that I know nothing about him and have to move on. That's become the theme of my life the last couple of days: moving on and facing the future. Scary as it seems.
Just got through talking with Kura. Very refreshing, especially since I haven't talked to her in forever.
According to the census bureau my name is ranked the 643rd most popular. I think I'm supposed to be flattered here that it's so unique. Some of those names are just weird, though. Just watch in a few years, maybe less, there'll be a wave of small girls named Madonna flooding the schools.
I guess I should introduce you to Fav. I hate him. First of all, he worships the ground Julius Caesar walks on, and he always thinks he's right. Moravius, a disabled vet whom I consider a friend, really knows what he's talking about and is always the one ending up debating Fav. Of course, Fav takes this personally. I try to tear apart Fav point by point when I can, though. Oh yeah, and Fav is also a Bush-hater. Which I wouldn't mind as much if he didn't try to think he knew what he was talking about when it comes to politics, too.
I'm listening to this Yahoo launchcast thing, which is ok. Except for some reason they keep inserting tracks by Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, rap artists, etc., into my personal station. They play my favorite tracks with semiregular frequency, though, so I guess that sorta makes it up.
Tried out Godiva's ice cream - vanilla with chocolate caramel hearts. GOOOOD stuff. I'm going to have a feast tomorrow morning - sourdough english muffins, three huge bags of cereal (one I need to finish off and two more I just bought), and some bottled chocolate milk, which, in my opinion, has way too much chocolate in it. Then I'll have a turkey sandwich for lunch...mmm.
Started The Red Badge of Courage the other day. Only 200-ish pages, but very good so far nonetheless.
To do: Sleep. Reply to Moravius' message in the morning. Umm yeah.

Woohoo! I actually updated this thing! From now on I'll try to be updating this thing more often. (Stupid life getting in the way of things important things.)
